With Hart we might just make the play offs and will work better with our younger players.
    Agree MYU.

Mr mason I was thinking the 1st team as there have been alot of talk of Sterling playing some games when he is 15 as he is already training with the 1st team and if we keep him he might break in. So nothing to do with the youth side.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Why cant we get someone who is equally as good with the whole squad, not half of it ?

I voted Bircham and Gallen. Well, Gallen, Ainsworth and Bircham. I'd recall Gareth and stick him as Gallen's assistant with Birch as a coach. Prepared to be shot down in flames, but this is why.

Three good, QPR men who will make it abundantly clear what it means to play for this football club. We all know we have players that can play, that's not the issue. It's the fight and spirit that's been missing this season, and last night - I know it's only one game - but I saw something different. The players were working for each other, putting a foot in, and we even saw a performance - at last - from Mr Watson. Ledge also put in a very Bircham-like performance and I don't think that was a co-incidence.

It looked like the players wanted to play for the shirt again, unlike the Boro and Watford games. With Mahon and Rowly out, we've missed that bite and a bit of gritt, something a spirit created by three Rangers boys would give.

I'd give it a chance. A lot of us wanted Ainsworth to be given a shot last season, and I just have a hunch this setup might work.

            Sir Pie,

As a man of stats please enlighten me as to what is even remotely positive about the following:-

            Team Games Managed Win Percentage

            Chesterfield 111 34.23
            Forest 134 31.34
            Barnsley 51 27.45
            R & D 16 25.00
            Portsmouth 30 30.00

            Total 342 31.29

That win percentage probably means we would avoid relegation on the last day of the season by 1pt by beating Newcastle.

Hart is a shambolic choice. Simply shambolic.

So it's Hart's fault that Defoe, Crouch, Distin, Johnson and Krancjar were sold? Was it his fault that James got injured or that Campbell left?

I love stats but they have to be in the right context to work. Of course he failed in the Premiership with Portsmouth because he had an awful team. Just like Grant has now.

At Forest all his best players were sold because they had dire financial difficulties but he did manage to get them into the Play offs.

As for the other teams how much does anyone know of the situations he or the teams were in?

Do you suggest we give him 10 games like you said we should give Tarabbt, to prove he is a world class striker ?

Why would he be a good appointment.I just think this is another rushed appointment leave the 2 lads at it for now and dont rush in to it, at least give it a few weeks to have a proper look.

Agree. He had his team sold from underneath him at Portsmouth and people then knock him for having a poor record. His team in the Premiership would struggle in the Championship but don't let that small piece of information stand in the way of people's views on him.
