The guy was class last night, the positives far outweighed the negatives. Leave him alone. I guess some people thought Simpson had a better game than him, even though he touched the ball 3 times.

Simpson was out of position on the left so he can hardly be blamed for struggling to get into the game.

Not trying to pick a fight but what did Adel do last night to make his performance "Class"?

Agree best player on the park last night. Goes past people with such ease, no other player would have unleashed the 2 thunderbolts he did. Gives our defence a break also as he was the only player holding the ball.

top top player and a privilage to watch.

sometimes I wouldnt pass either if my options were aggy.

I'm not doubting his skill or ability at all.

I have to say though, last night he stuck out like a sore thumb for me last night as the 1 player in the side who was playing for himself and not for the team!

Tarrabt is overrated that is for sure.
He doesn't have an end product and does need to pass at the right times.
Still that took ronaldo time to learn under a world class manager.
He still has a long way to go before he is anywhere near the word 'class' however I did think he had a decent game last night and did show alot more effort.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If those two thuderbolts had gone in not a bad word against him would be written here today.

Fair point but it's hard to defend some of the things that go on in between the moments of genius.

If the lad could learn when to pass and when to take it on himself as well as a bit of team spirit he would be a top class player!

I didn't see too many situations last night where a pass was the better option. Other games - yes, but last night he didn't do too much wrong. He can't beat his man at every opportunity. He reminds me of Cantona - who, by the way, is criticised by Roy Keane in his book for never 'doing it' in Europe - even the 'greatest' have their faults.

He played ok i thought. Does my head in at times when he gets too greedy, but the guy does ooze class for sure. he`s only young though. I`m sure Zidane was just the same at his age. But it was a good team performance, and i would take that any day over a "one man show".
