I think people are expecting a bigger name than a CCC could get.

I think Steve Coppell would be a popular choice, though some will look at Readings slump in form as a reason to say no. Though that slump still meant a play off place.

Popular choices are often ex players, fan favs. I athink this is a bad idea myself. Someone mentioned Les Ferdinand in a thread. He simply doesn;t have the experience to take us up though.
