The guy was immense last night, and after a disrupted start for us with the 2 send offs and missing so many games hes showing his quality. Time for the club to make a statement in transfer market, pay the money and install him as club captain and build a team around him, reminds me of Terry Fenwick who when Venables signed him everyone was unsure but led by example and was a leader both on and off the pitch, do the same with Ben (i know Rowly is still with us and I hope he recovers from his knee) but Watson is the future.

I agree he had a good game last night, but he's been lacking previously, I hope this is the start of a good run of form for him, but it was only one game.
