Without going back to the quality of your source as I know you rate them as sound, all I keep hearing is interviews with "Leeds people" (Grayson and Lorimer included) that the Chairman's stance is - if the manager want's him he will be staying - and the manager wants him.

As we all know we wanted £10m for Cook but never got it. Whoever this player is we won't spend what they want us to spend and we'll try and get him for half that price. They are in the mire after all.
