That's what life is like being a QPR fan! Certainly a positive performance from the lads (I was expecting a thrashing), but we shouldn't have allowed them to fight back from 2-0 down. First goal was the result of some poor defending - the ball bounced awkwardly and Stewart hesitated. Second goal - Faurlin perhaps should have looked to "play safe" rather than try to play in Pellicori. We haven't seen much of the Italian - but it does seem that he's too slow - he could have made a bit more of an effort to close down the defenders.
Substitutions did not have the desired effect. For example, Gallen and Bircham brought on Fitz Hall in order to strengthen the defence, but he actually unsettled the back four. The decision to bring on Pellicori was also questionable. Of course, it must be remembered that the caretaker managers are inexperienced and I think they coped rather well under the circumstances.
I think this performance emphasised that Rangers must learn to see out victories. Over the last few years, just how many points have been thrown away in the last few minutes of matches? A lot.
A special mention to Kaspars Gorkss - superb performance from the Latvian.
