Lovely.
Another centre back.
Unless of course he's actually a blinding full back, a central midfield leader or a great striker and been keeping that under wraps all of his career.
Nice one GP.
IF true of course :cry:I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Its such a small point and im sure it has no bearing on why any half decent manager wont touch us with a barge pole.

In fact, we're sh1t at the back and have the joy's of Damion Stewart and Fitz Hall to look to as back up. With Matt Connolly being tempermental for fitness these days too, we're actually a lot weaker there than many like to believe. Not saying Mills is the answer to all our problems, but he just can't be worse than Stew Peas and Hall...surely?I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Fair points on RECENT FORM of the back 4 but can I just caveat that with --
We've needed decent full backs for almost 2 seasons now
We have a keeper who could not command a well trained dog
We have had every single permutation of centre-back partnerships possible at the club (except maybe for Legs playing there) this season.
A pair of settled CB's in Kaspar + Connolly has been needed and that's rarely occurred due to injury plus bizzare reasons known only to Magilton and his forehead.
My personal view is a cool mill could be better spent elsewhere and another CB is not the most pressing concern.
That is all.I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

L block spot on and I do also agree with that.
If fit Connolly and Gorrks can do a job and our full backs are very poor.I played sunday league football today.

Basically, the CB spot is more important than the full back positions as when penetrated, the keeper is on his own. Our fullbacks get beaten too often which puts more pressure on the CB's from crosses, so yes...we need to address them too, but again, CB is more vital IMO.
We need a holding midfielder to protect the back four and a striker to get the goals. Not a million miles off having a great team again, but still far enough away from a top 6 finish if you ask me.Your mum would love me...
