  • Funny really....

... that all the Magilton haters on here are probably starting to change their views on Jim as more and more hopeless names are put forward for the QPR manager's job.

Anyone else think that in May next year we will all be saying WHY DID WE GET RID OF JIM.....?

The real issue is that it doesn't matter who the manager is as he knows that 4 or 5 bad results and he is likely to be sacked, no-one will be able to perform given that pressure.

The only thing the club should be looking for now is stability.

Even if we had Alex Ferguson manage us we would not get promoted in 1 season simple as that. This season is now officially over in terms of us winning anything.
I would also think half our squad will be hoping for bids come January. Would you want to play for this shambles of a club?

I personally would think I'm better off out of here. Routledge is probably pretty gutted he didn't stay with Cardiff.

Absolutely not. Only 7 wins in 20 games is not good enough.

Let's look at the cause as to why he's lost the dressing room. The players cannot deal with criticism. They have to look at themselves in the mirror and think have we given him our all, and not many of them can say they have.

Unfortunately by getting rid of Jim the hierarchy at the club have basically let the players decide his fate which should never be the case.

The very same thing has happened at Stoke. Why has Pulis not been suspended? Stoke have come out of it with credit, Beattie looks a fool.
We (surprise surprise) have handled it differently. Think how much Buzz would have been up for the WBA game if Jim had said 'ok we've fallen out, you think you are the top man at this club, get out there and prove me wrong.....'
Instead we now have Marc Bircham picking the team on Monday night against the best side in the division. Its unbelievable. The players will all sit there in there little cliques laughing at the way they have managed to get rid of the manager.

                Shameful.

I thought JM was an odd and bizzare appointment.

Apparently FB had FOUR interviews with him and he was the "outstanding candidate"? Maybe he kept his mad cap approach and ever changing mind at bay in those 4 discussions.

I certainly wont miss him - but why did he lose the dressing room?

Some of that blame has to go to whoever assembled this squad. 12 midfielders chasing places, loanees going straight in, no leaders, overpaid prima donnas, only ONE goalkeeper, strikers?!?!?!?!

We are a squad of indviduals - not a TEAM.
Some fantastic individuals I give you, but not the right blend.

Whoever comes in has a massive task on his hands and I wish him luck
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

                    Two reasons......

The Stoke hierarchy are fully supportive of Pulis and have no desire to lose him

For all his faults (and they are numerous!) Beattie or his representative didn't go squealing like pinched pig to anyone with a press accreditation and then Stoke PR managed it professionally through their professional PR team rather than our method in leaving our professional PR team in the dark whilst letting the story spin out of all control.

Agree with Kingy 100%. Stoke and us had similar problems this weekend. How it was handled shows us the difference between a club that respects it's manager and one that was looking for an excuse to hang him out to dry.

Not for the first time our board have shown they will not let our manager manage. If this keeps up we will go nowhere and it is for that reason I can see no future for our club. Just an endless stream of being on the brink of something good and having the rug pulled from under our feet from a very impatient board. This is not an Italian League. This isn't how things work.

                      LET THE MANAGER MANAGE FFS.

No manager will be able to manage freely under our current set up - we won't go forward until the director of football set up is disbanded.
