Ive been thinking about this a lot this week.. Where did it all go wrong?
For me it comes down to this - the true test of a man is not when things are going well, but when they are not. During our bad run Jim self-destructed. He showed no composure, started making wrong/stubborn decisions and proved to be out of his depth.
If you think about it - this is where a good manager is judged... on how they pull the club out the sh@t/potential slumps. Jim was failing, behaving erratically and thats where the loss of confidence from fans, board and players was allowed to creep in.
You gotta be a bit smarter than just screaming and shouting when things dont go your way!
