PS wasnt worried bout Blackstock staying or going cos he was **** as a lone striker....think it was a case of "whatever". If the new manager ever plays 1 up front then Blackstock is not his man......better if he stays at Forest tbh and Flabio puts his hands in his pockets for some decent strikers.

I fear the language used is deliberately obscure, pete your intepretation is the one the statement aims to acheive.

Why did they not make it clear and specific, I personally can only think that they were unable to do so. It makes no sense to flourish such a statement on the official site and leave the statement open to interpretation does it, it defeats its own purpose as it clarifies nothing.

I felt clouded when I first read it. Should be more clearer. But it indicates a series of events, that led to Blackstock going to Forest

seriously, thats my interpretation of events. You may or may not agree.

Benefit of the doubt might be that Paulo didn't take much notice, then realised he should have done.

Also, you have to bear in mind this important factor. He wanted to be seen to be on the fans side.

Fans were singing for Blackstock, if they hadn't he would not have been asked the question after the game by the journalist and maybe this would not have been a story

Sousa's original statement said when he arrived back from holiday "when I came back Mr Paladini told me he had an agreement (for Blackstock) to go on loan"

Therefore the chain of events is something like:

1. Sousa returns from holiday
2. GP tells him that agreement is reached that Blackstock is going on to Forest on loan
3. Sousa meets with the agent. Pointless really becuase loan had already been agreed. Not much Sousa can do or say.
4. Blackstock signs paperwork and goes off.

Nothing in the agents statement shows Sousa is lying. Agent met with Sousa at lunchtime and Blackstock signs at 4.00. How long does it take to Negotiate with Agent, for Agent to agree with player, draw up the paperwork, put in conditions, check it, agree it between both clubs, and agree it with player. Do the math boys.

Well that's an incorrect quote if ever I've read one. When did he say that and how can he say that when Blackstock went over a week earlier.

The agents comment on the official site says "At 4.00pm on March 26 2009, Dexter signed the paperwork to complete his loan transfer to Nottingham Forest"
Yet if you look at the BBC website where it reports the story of the completed signing. It shows the following "Page last updated at 14:52 GMT, Thursday, 26 March 2009" This is a whole 1 hour 8 mins before, It is claimed by the agent the deal was completed.

Doesn't really take much to pick a whole in what the Agent says. Think it's quite obvious in what is going on.
