I'll be honest with you..that's the ONE thing I really really really don't get. Anyone who knows any player or indeed Dex knows the craic..and PS knew what was happening and, blatantly didnt rate dex whatsoever, so why try and blag he knew jack was astonishing and doesnt make sense?

I'll say again though, I do think what was alleged he did say (other than this) are probably true.

Sorry am I missing something here , this does not contradict anything PS has said, which was on coming back from portugal he was told a deal had been done for blackstock. Now has he been fired for revealing confidential information? Or for telling a porkie? Cos if its not the latter what does the statement have anything to do with this

This is classic PR distraction spin

We've now heard the agent's version of events. Before making any judgement let's hear what Sousa's version of the events are. Always hear both sides of the story!

Anyway, like I said the agent would want him to leave as he makes more money out of the deal! He wouldn't make as much if he just stayed at Rangers and signed a new contract.

Wouldn't surprise me if Flavio has bumped this bloke a few quid to put out this story or the promise of future deals using him.

The club must think we were born yesterday.

Maybe Dexter's agent lined up a loan move to Forest behind Sousa's back. Then when Dexter met with Sousa and found out he did not figure in his plans he gave his agent the go-ahead to initiate the loan deal?.

Wether Paladini had an input in it i couldn't say.

          Just a thought.

What we cannot dispute that he was our top scorer and started 6 games out of 21 under Sousa
What cannot be disputed was that he was a Waddock signing as well. Also out next top striker was Helguson who was signed by Paladini and had failed a medical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              davman.

He said he didn't know. Sorry its that simple.

              I'll give you an example

Vine hears that and assumes the same from the morning press. He does a press conference after as well beleving what had happened.

The above is an example. As I say, we do NOT know everything that went on then before or after. We are just trying to unravel a puzzle and it has many pieces.

Its logical that the people that didn't want Sousa gone will want to defend him and the other side of the coin, the others will think he must have known.

I guess there is no right or wrong.

Another one of life's little conveniences. At a time when Sousa is almost certainly unable to respond due to pending court action.

Nice statement and all, but where does it say "Paulo was told that Dex was off to Nottingham. Far as I can see, Dex and Paulo discussed "the situation". What situation was that?

Why not just issue an unambiguous "Dex told Paulo he wanted to go on loan to Nottm Forest, and Paulo said okay". How difficult would that be?

Also suggests that Paulo's sacking had nothing to do with his statement on Dex. Nothing highly sensitive or confidential there. Course not too many would be too comfortable sacking Sousa for being a liar I suspect, bit too close to home.

All in all, methinks the club doth protest too much!

                      bernie inn.

People are so rigid and see only side of a story.

We really don't know do we? I'll get accussed of saying one thing and the others will go in reverse of that.

                      Who is right?
