Agree - Treatment of JM isn't shocking. This is standard worldwide good HR practice. It's only deemed shocking due to the media sh1tstorm and feeding frenzy across the internet.

Stay calm, deep breaths take emotion out of the circumstances and look at this rationally.

Employee puts in formal complaint to employer that another, senior, employee has physically assaulted him and bullied him.

Best HR practice to protect all employees and the business is to suspend the employee against whom the allegation was made, on full pay, whilst an investigation is carried out.

The only "shocking" thing that has happened here is that, yet again, the news has leaked like a sieve.

I have absolutley no issue with GP I'm agnostic towards him, however I know a pr campaign when I see one, and I'm interested in who's interests the campaign is for. There is clearly a pr campaign from the club and from Magiltons representatives.

It is very interesting to note this morning that Magilton's pr piece in the Independent http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/magilton-denies-headbutt-on-buzsaky-but-faces-sack-1837197.html

is fingering GP as using the incident as a a way to get rid of him
