magilton has denied it happened, I'm prepared to believe him. You are innocent until proven guilty in this country. You don't get a people walking out to join him, if he was lying.

    Absolute codswallop.

Why, because you don't agree with it??

We are beating teams 4-0, 5-2, 4-1, then suddenly we are getting thumped, I'd expect you or me as a manager to be asking some very serious questions as to why that is..In fact, I'd get pretty p.issed off, if I didn;t get the answers

No this thread was questioning whether GP might be at threat, because as the day has progressed, those known to be close to GP are all pushing a similar position evident through new thread titles, questions, unconfirmed rumours not reported elsewhere in shall we say what looks like the beginings of an online campaign

Yep, first place to ask some questions is in the mirror. Do you think that ever happens with Magilton?

No - because your logic is wrong, wrong, wrong.

You said his treatment was shocking. Why? Because you are prepared to beleive him and JG.
Fair enough - but even if YOU believe him. Doesn't make his treatment shocking.

As I have said twice in this thread which you seem to be ignoring - you are suspended from place of ANY employment if you are accused of assault - pending an enquiry.

            NOT SHOCKING.

Management/The Board/The employers are bound by law to carry this out in this way.

                online campaign for what?

I doubt magilton will come back, and i've been quite defensive of him. The club approach, I suspect is the complete opposite.

Its my opinion.. hard for people to comprehend but it always has been. It might not have been what people want to read or hear, but thats not really my problem.

You might if the people who walked out were part of the management team present when all this kicked off and they did nothing to stop it.

Put it this way..if you saw your boss assault a colleague who reported to you and you chose not to report what had happened to your senior managers, don't you think you'd be in big trouble when the incident was investigated?

                      AndyB,

It does not take too long to get it sorted. It took Stoke City 3 days.

You really believe magilton will be back pending any investigation?? I don't.

                      Thats my strong belief.

What part of it is SHOCKING Pete?

Can you not just say "sorry - over emotive use of an adjective".

But you don't, so you must think it is shocking.

                        So why is it?

                          More SHOCKING revelations:

                          http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...-Magilton.html

                          Particularly this bit:

"In fact, when Gorman asked for a show of hands for who wanted to back their manager yesterday, not a single player raised their arm."

They must all be liars then. SHOCKING.

Okay "shocking" might be the wrong word, but it could have been dealt with quickly. Speak to everyone and come to a decision, like Stoke have.

It comes down to this and is reflected in posts today.

The ones that didn't like Magilton, will defend his suspension and the ones who felt he should be given more of a chance will defend him, Thats life. i fit into the latter category, and though disappointed with the last 2 results didn't feel it was time for him to move on.

Bernies is prime example, he never liked him from day one and now suddenly feels vindicated, because he has already made a decision on what actually happened because it suits his beliefs

                              At last - thankyou.

I agree with you about how things SHOULD have been done - but, if AB has made an accusation - there is no other way the Club can act from now-on.
An investigation has to be carried-out.

magilton..not my first choice but generally doing ok (balancing of late with the last few months...high highs - low lows..)

I'm now saying that ALL sources are pointing towards (bad) player power

                                not good

                                and
