This is now the impossible job, a poisoned mug, catch 22, no-win. Let's face it; No-one has a f**************G clue. It doesn't matter if its Southgate or Shergar. We are a joke with no leadership, we are the epitome of how not to run a club. We are QPR.

If we get a few wins between now and the end of December, I can see Bircham and gallen given the job until the end of the season.

That would be the board trying to get the fans behind them by using an ex-player who was loved by the fans. Then they will drop him and get in some Mr Average for pre-season.

Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Hear we go again a name is thrown in the hat and he is dismissed straight away.

What is wrong with Gareth Southgate, managed in the PL for 3 years, 60 caps for England, English....

Personally I don't think Gareth Soutgate would touch this club with a 10ft barge pole.

This would be THE worst appointment yet. Boring person, boring football and way below where we should be looking.
                          Your mum would love me...

No no no no, please no. It was a safe bet he'd trash Boro last season så please no. No education, no enthusiasm... It mustn't be GS.

Think Pete is spot on re Gallen and Bircham.

These boys will be inheriting a bunch of decent footballers.

If they can sort out some of the bad attitudes and achieve some good results then I see no reason as to why they will not be kept on.

The board want success. If Gallen/Bircham give then four wins out of the next four games then it will be very hard to overlook them at least until the end of the season.

I think he could be a fantastic appointment for two reasons:

                                1. He has played at the highest level, and I think this team need someone who has.
                                2. Midds was his first job, and like any first job you make loads of mistakes. He is obviously an intelligent bloke, I would bank on him to have learnt from most of those mistakes and come back stronger. A fresh start is sometimes the only way for someone in their career.

I'd be interested in why people are not happy with him as a possibility.

Shearer anyone? Ha, except he couldn't bring his assistant!
