Different opinions abound.
OK. Which tactical genius would you have? Let's be honest how many teams except Burnley have got out of this division with 'tactical' managers? The guys that do the best in the Championship are motivator types.

On the 2nd part of your post Buzz must be one of his favourites as he has been accommodating him on the right when really Routledge should be there. I'd have Faurlin and Watson ahead of Buzz in the centre of the park.

For me I think we are seriously missing Mahon. Someone who sits in front of the back four and screens the defence. Our midfield is so attacking, Faurlin is seen by some as a defending midfielder, but I think he plays quite high up the pitch (he reminds me of Buzz actually.) Watson is a runner but not a great defender and Routledge, Buzz, Tarrabt are all free role types who don't defend at all.

We have also played a couple of teams that play counter attacking football, we lose the ball, they break at speed and we are stuffed. For an extreme example think 3rd goal vs Watford. Also we have not defended well enough in those games, basic headed clearances were not made especially against Coventry.

Perhaps you could pop down to Yeovil or wherever he is these days and have a chat with Marcus Stewart about Jim.
I made the character judgement based on the chat and also from what I've seen on tv interviews and press conferences. If you read his comments post game I tend to agree with 99% of what he says.

Is that the same 40 year old Marcus Stewart that Jim got rid of? Wonder why he might have a negative view?

Also I might be wrong but didn't Ipswich finish above us last year?

                well balanced post....
if jm has nutted a player , for me that's going too far..as yet being investigated and that should run it's course...whatever more bad press for qprfc.

i imagine these things are very common place in pro sports but are rarely reported.
if media weren't at west ham, who would 've known hartson kicked benyyaoun?
                or qpr fought china??
beattie and his tizzy with pulis recently??

i wonder if the contracts of loaness affect selection? ie clauses if fit must play!

No, that'll be the Marcus Stewart who played with Jim at Ipswich and having been the Prem's top scorer the season before, missed much of the following relegation season with a broken jaw after a training ground "incident".

                    great post.

we all have to keep a open mind about what happened as there are two conflicting stories about what happened.

which to believe? we cant just slate someone for something we dont know about

lets see how the invesigation goes first.

I have no idea what happened, but for what it's worth:

JM has previous, since he arrived really, with picking on Buzsacky. He constantly plays him out of position. Buzsacky never struck me as some sort of prancing prima dona, the complete opposite in fact. JM constantly tinkers with his squad, with selections seemingly based on who comes out of the hat first rather than form or ability. In mid December, he still hasnt got a bamboo what his best starting eleven is. The only indesputabe fact is that Buzsacky was kicked out of the dressing room on Monday night, despite only being on the field for 14 mins.

I just hope we dont get the orchestrated campaign against JM or Buzsacky, like we saw with Sousa. Frankly, I doubt truth and justice will prevail. What will prevail is whatever decision is made by the power-brokers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-Buzz. In fact I rate really highly but the manager has to be give the space to manage. If he nutted Buzz then I agree he has to go. If he had a heated row and wouldn't back down and stuck up for what he believed in then brilliant, that's what I wanna see in my manager.

Magilton style of football ? what is that exactly i ask?

We have only beat 1 good team in our Leauge= Cardiff
S****horpe,Barnsley,Preston,Reading,Derby and Sheffield Wednesday are all poor teams yes we did beat 4 of them by scoring 4 or more goals but as soon as we come up against a team who is well organised ie Leicester,Middlesbrough and Peterbrough to name a few we look like we don't have a clue on how to break them down pretty passing going nowhere with no plan B to speak off.

So is his stye of football good? We had one of the best defence's in the leauge last year 44 goals against, this year 29 against in 20 games not great is it.

And Playing Fitz hall against Watford and keeping him on the pitch should be a sackable offence and i never #### off our own players but Fitz come on Jim how can you think he is better than Gorkss!!

This is the best message on the thread. Well said.

Totally agree with all this though.

                                Plenty of indisputable facts there.
