I think most fans could see that something was being built under Sousa and wanted time this season to see if it would be as good as expected with the few decent players we had in our squad back this season. that is why so many turned on the board for there treatment asnd on Pete etc for their part in what happened, but hey neil tells us we are wrong so we better change our minds ... lets see if he can achieve what pete and the cronies have failed to do with most of us

I know there were plenty on here glad to see the back of Sousa but out in the stands the vast majority of people I talked to realised that we were progressing, people that have had many years of watching football and have seen many teams and managers come and go, they understood what Sousa was trying to achieve.
Too many people want instant success, the fact we now have wealthy owners doesnt help this but what Sousa was doing was following what the owners had outlined as their strategy, to build solidly for sustainable improvement.
We lost that opportunity and we pay the penalty. I wonder how long before managers such as Wenger and redknapp reconsider loaning thier players out into the situation they find themselves in now at qprits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
