QPR manager Magilton faces axe over headbutt as Buzsaky threatens to press charges
QPR manager Magilton faces axe over headbutt as Buzsaky threatens to press charges
QPR manager Jim Magilton's future was thrown into doubt last night after he became the second manager in a week to be accused of butting one of his players.
Cant see anyway back from this to be honest, you head butt your best player/crowd favourite you might aswell clear your desk.
Jim Magiltons cracked under the pressure.
This sounds very serious but it does give QPR an option to sack him without compensation if the allegations of a headbutt are proved and QPR follow the proper procedures. I presume that like all companies, there is a discliplinary process to follow.
There will have to be a proper discliplinary case and that takes a little time to prepare for all parties. Usually it's 7-14 days.
QPR would have the option of suspending Magilton until the discliplinary is heard. Once judgement is made there is usually an option to appeal to a higher level within the club. Usually thats within 7-14 days from the initial judgement.
So, if the story is true, I'd imagine we'll probably hear something further today on the official site either refuting the allegations or Magilton being suspended pending the outcome of a discliplinary.
"Witnesses say Agyemang then squared up to his manager and condemned him for what was an unprovoked act of violence."
"Magilton is then said to have asked him if he wanted the same treatment, and it was only when Agyemang said he would like to see him try that the Ulsterman backed off"
I wouldnt want to **** with big pat either.....jessus h christ if this is true then he's gone.
