  • Pre-match snub to the fans

Did anyone else notice that before the match last night, our players were training in the corner by our own fans. A group of kids including my 9 yr old boy were gathered to watch the players do their drills etc. Also there was the guy with the hat and the Morrocan flag. He was trying to get Taarabt to come over and he held his flag patiently for about ten mins until the drills were over. All the kiddies were clearly hoping that their idols would walk the ten yards over to them after their routines were done.

Not one player came over to the Rangers fans to shake hands or sign autographs. It was like they refused to even recognise their own fans.

This is indicative of the gulf between players and fans. Many of these guys don't give a toss about those that travel to watch their team. Disgraceful.

I was watching the routines when the whole squad were near our corner about ten minutes before kick off and the extra goal net was out.

Perhaps Gorkss came over in an earlier warm up. Maybe its asking too much to expect players to acknowledge their own kiddie fans.

the thing is you cd just about understand it - not like it or even accept it, but understand it - if these players were anything, but in the final analysis they are all fairly average. if they were real stars they wd be in the premiership. when some of them are finally shipped out they will be lucky to even play in the championship.
