I expected the first poll on "should we sack Magilton or not?" to appear in September, round about the second friendly. Magilton was even quoted indirectly as saying he thought he wd get sacked in November, and we all turned round and said "so he thinks he'll last that long, eh?" Instead he has seen it through till December without any serious grumbles. If he survives another few games he must surely be our longest serving manager since about John Gregory (something like seven managers ago now). Anyone got any stats on this? Just think, if he makes it till Christmas Flavio will probably give him a long service award and a carriage clock, diamond encrusted with "Billionare" tastefully monogramed, naturally...
