  • How far Do You think Recent Defeats have affected the Club?

With so much effort off the pitch and wins, everyone confidence high, promotions to get supporters in etc etc.

Will we now see a drop in attendances??

Clearly there will be a number of stay away Rangers fans that will be excited to see if we can lose 5-1 at home again and attendances will go through the roof.

That and the one of the few remaining opportunities to see Fitz play for a CCC team before he disappears with the rest of his A Posse into non league obscurity.

I think crowds will drop a bit, Sheff Utd being the last Saturday before Xmas will always be a problem, hopefully better on Boxing Day.
Incidentally, I reckon this is at least the FOURTH year running that we have been at home on the last Saturday before Xmas-somebody at the club should have picked up on this before.

          Massively.

This is the time of the year when those who can only get to the odd game go and the last two results will keep some away. Who wants to take their kid to their first ever match when the team are playing like this? How many will want to ruin their festive period by having to sit through 90 minutes of that.

The Coventry game was an entertaining match with a disappointing result but the last two games haven't even been entertaining.

Let's be honest. We have as many fans who attend on a match by match basis rather than being able to commit to a season ticket [myself included, I must add], and all of those will surely have watched that debarcle on TV last night at least.

Not exactly the rallying call we need.. is it, and after being the featured game on ITV Saturday, we've been hit with a double whammy so I think attendences are sure to fall.

A real big opportunity missed in my opinion,i have a lot of friends who finiancially could'nt afford a season ticket this year, but were making noises about getting a Half season ticket, that has well and truly gone out of the window now,i am sure their would have been others thinking the same,on a personal note i already have a ticket for Bristol City and am seriously thinking about staying with the family now on boxing day, unless of course we ship out Fitz hall between now and then !! I fear for us at WBA :(:(:beaten:

Quite frankly I couldn't care less. If they can't support the R's during the bad times then don't bother coming at all.

I know most fans can't commit to a season ticket for financial / work / family reasons, but a lack of form doesn't cut it as an excuse for non attendance. Go and support the mob down the road if you want to be a part time supporter.

Bazza,Bad times ?? my friends and i have been supporting the R's for over 40yrs so i've been through plenty and rangers are in our hearts and always will be,but,i object to paying out my hard earned money for (some) players who quite frankly don't give a toss,if they show the same commitment, passion and enthusiasm that i have over the years then yes,i will always be there, thats all all of us ever ask from them, but the last two games have shown that they are not upto the fight and that hurts, after all, would you go to the pictures and pay good money for a film that you knew was going to be c r a p before you went ?? i doubt it ??

although I understand what you are saying and agree with it, there are people that can only afford a few games a year, especially if they have to take kids etc, so they will think about when to go.

They are less inclined to go when we play badly and hold out for a bit of form.

The unfortunate thing is Scubbery if your expecting a football team to show a quarter of the commitment that the fans do you'll die waiting.

The thing with going to the pictures is that you have a choice. Unfortunately with football fans you don't. Once an R always an R.

I'm not having a go at fans who need to pick and choose matches due the reasons I gave, just the fans who have the means to go but don't bother because we are getting tonked. Even though the Boro and Watford games have ruined my week, I still take some inner moral integrity from them knowing I made the effort

This would all be irrelivent anyway if Ali Russell issued some reasonable prices.

Think the commenst on half season tickets are right. I know a few people who were seriously considering it. Many mates would be told how well we were playing, then suddenly this..

Club were gearing towards a good New Year, now I feel this has put us back at least a few months (well the club heirachy anyway)

To be honest I think last nights game was enough to put people off football altogether, let alone QPR.
