Now don't get me wrong there are times when his substitutions baffle me, but blaming Jim for this recent run is not acceptable.
I have to say the only people that should be blamed are the players. The same way the players take the credit when we do well, they have to take the blame. Some of the team are simple not trying. Jim alludes to it in his post match interview.
"At the minute we've just got one or two who are shying away - you need characters and you need leaders."
Tonight Routledge, Agyemang, Tarrabt were not in the least bit interested in winning the game for Rangers. OK Pat got on the scoresheet but he looked liked he was running at half pace and didn't even celebrate his goal, what kind of attitude is that from someone who should be desperate to get back in the side. Routledge looked relieved to have come off.
Why do we always have to blame the manager, these spineless players cannot lose, they earn fortunes and often cannot be bothered to give it a go and try but it doesn't matter, they still get paid and the manager will get the blame. I think its disgraceful.
I do have some sympathy for Tarrabt in that he is trying to get himself a move somewhere so wants to excel but his overplaying does nothing for the team in terms of performance and it seems to wind up the rest of the players creating an atmosphere in the dressing room. I think he may go in January.
