Hope Indyrs don't mind me pasting this over here, can't say i agree with too much that is written on there. Yet I can't disagree with this.
"Tonight for me summed up everything I find difficult in following the team I have supported from man to boy.
A team of million pound players, who nobody else wanted, some on ridiculously long contracts, bereft of any creative or thoughtful football.
So you know what, all this lovely football gets you nowhere. So tonight mathew Jolly Jim thought by selecting (if he did) a team to launch footballs up the pitch especially from our full backs will win the game. You couldnt make it up.
Surely with all the coaching know how and experience of our management team they could fix the problem better then the solution of, kick it and chase after it.
Were scoring goals and creating chances so why not fix the problem of conceeding goals. No lets put a midfield of stoppers in and put by far our best player in Faulin as a left winger. Yes think about it. They put him on the left wing.
Coach our players who are comfortable on the ball Jim not penalise them. Give them clearer roles and responsibilities, work on their decision making and get the best out of them. If Routledge isnt having any joy by a full back showing him inside, try him on the other wing.
No lets put a lot of tryers in which is fine but you know what you get with tryers. A 3-1 loss to an ok championship team. I dont think thats part of the master plan is it.
Ps still think Briatore is involved somewhere in all this. "
