Give me reasons why. I am happy to listen but you can't just say he was class, end of.
I thought he was very anonymous to be honest and he certainly cost us a goal through not tracking back. I may be wrong. Just saying it as I see it. However I don't really like personal insults, I think they generally say more about the person saying them than about me. Like with every club, you get people who are happy to talk about the game proprly then people who couldn't spell GCSE, let alone have one. Those are normally the ones who want a scrap and all that,. I just wanna watch the game, see us play well and try hard.

He looks pedestrian sometimes but
1)he always wants the ball
2)he gives the ball quickly
3)he picks passes that open defences 1) dave goal 2) dave sitter chance 2nd half
4)passes spread the play
5)all our decent play starts or go through him

and Stedders, what did you think about our full backs & in particular Borrowdale, as i've noticed this must be the 1st post that you haven't mentioned "Borrowdale"

Re your comment about Faurlin not tracking back for doyleys goal... well doyley played left back, so dont you mean where was our right winger.... which was ROUTLEDGE not faurlin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

buzz should not have started - been awful recently.
There is something wrong when good players, like buzz, are just playing like vegetables.

As I said before, I like Faurlin generally, just felt he was anonymous today and was at fault for the first goal. On Saturday he was woeful with his passing, and kept giving it away, but he is young and I like his spirit on the pitch and agree with some of the stuff above. He is a good buy. I just think Buzz has been treated unfairly and I wonder what others have done to get selected week in, week out ahead of him in centre midfield???
With regards to the full-backs, I thought actually ramage put in some fine crosses. we all know his limitations, but I also know he tries hard and we need more of that right now. Borrowdale was average. I feel that he played some nice passes in the first half, but didn't do much second half. None of the goals were his fault, but today his wasn't close enough to his man at times. I don't just blindly defend someone, but in the case of Borrowdale, people were totally out of proportion with criticism towards him and I felt he needed defending. his performance on Saturday was excellent and hence not one person who named their best team for tonight left him out.

Look, I am not anti-Faurlin, but you have turned what I thought was a footballing post into a personal attack on me, which is pathetic. Keep it to the football.

You simply can't polish a turd!
Some, or should I say MOST of the players need to take a long hard look at themselves tonight, after that performance, Alejandro Faurlin the only exception.
You just knew from the very start, with confidence low, and a back four of :
Ramage (hoof and too slow, great heart though, just a shame he has limited footballing ability)
Hall (hoof and tends to hide an awful lot to me? It did seem Stewart was winning headers, tackles, covering all the time, so what was Hall actually doing to compliment him as a partnership?)
Stewart (again, I'm sorry but just not good enough. Covered for Hall all over the park, but who wouldn't? And as for 'that tackle'? That was a shocker, and deserved a red)
Borrowdale (again, simply not good enough. Not a bad player with the ball at his feet, but lacks pace, and doesn't seem to give us many attacking options when we go forward)
Add that to the fact we haven't kept a clean sheet in 9, only won once in 7, are sliding down the table at a rate of knots, it must obviously be affecting the players confidence, and I am seriously worried. Not just about not being good enough to make the play off places, but this league is that tight and we all know anyone can beat anyone else on their day, I fear we may be dragged right down into a relegation fight yet! That's no bullsh*t!
If and when Connolly (best defender at the club) is fit, he and Gorkks (only other decent defender presently at the club!) must start in Central defence or we go out and get a ****** great big bruiser at the back to try and half the sieve like defence we have at the mo! Someone in the mould of...I hear big Dan might be available at Bolton? He would be ideal.
We also definitely need 2 decent full backs, who can actually play football, like to get forward, have pace and don't always want to play a 40 yard ball down the line in the channels every time we get possession!
I do think 4-4-2 is the way to go, but for christ sake, we only need 1 holding midfield player, not 2! Look at some Premier league sides? They have flair players all over the park, but it's a balance. If we look after the ball better in possession, and not give it away in key areas we can play a midfield of :
Routledge Buzsacky Faurlin Taarabt
with Simpson and another decent, pacy striker of Premiership standard, who knows where the net is. Maybe an experienced striker for Simpson to learn off? How about Philips at Brum?
Cerny made a couple of good saves, but it must be time to give him a rest now? It might even spur him on? Give him the kick up the ar*e he needs? Prove that not everyones place in the team is 100% safe?
Tough decisions call for tough measures, and Jim must start making some and soon!
Build the side around Faurlin, get rid of the dead wood (Ramage, Hall, Pellicori and Alberti) for starters, bring or try (on loan?) to bring in a couple of new faces to liven things up for competition, and for crying out loud, have a word with the Directors/owners/financial backers/sponsors/investors etc to give the manager (whoever it might be?) some money to help the manager in the transfer market come January, or we could be facing a relegation battle come April not a play off place.
Come on you R'rsss!!!

No idea why you are saying a "personal attack" though..... football is all about opinions and you have said something about football which the majority did not agree with, but i dont think it has got person at all, just a debate. If everyone agreed with each other on here, it would be a pretty boring site, in fact football would be pretty boring. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

Watch again ad ou'll see Faurlin not track back, and that player cross it. Maybe he played better than I gave him credit for, I am not perfect ;) BUT that goal was in large part down to him.
