    3. priskin was all but in a hoops shirt last week only for keane to change his mind at the last minute.
4.routledge was on his way to boro to have a medical with sean saiko coming the other way and 1.75m, but newcastle came in at the last minute with 2m plus 500k if they go up.
    5. now fitz aggy and routledge gone only one player at the club isnt inline with wage cap at the club(which the board would really do themselves a favour by explaining to the fans)
    6. reason quashie deal took so long was last time nigel was at the club is attitude was disgusting, and we had him for a couple of weeks to see if it had improved.
    7. voltz hasnt played football in a very long time been suffering with a broken peubic bone(ouch!!) so will need months to get match fit so give him time if he signs.
    8. clynes bid was rejected as wolves bid over a mill, but the player snubbed them and we still remain confident for a deal in the future as have a special relationship with his agent(base) .
    9. adel spurs asked us our feeling regarding asking to cut adels loan short if needed and would give us the option on other players, we agreed but people from spurs have watched adel recently and havnt seen any change from the player!
now for all you idiots that want to #### people off on the messageboard who dare to post gossip...
cant speak for everyone but i know everything i post im told is by the same source and am told in good faith so if you dont like it dont read it!!

Do you think Paulo Sousa would have found the below thread to be leaking confidential sensitive information if assuming it was true though equally damaging if it was lies?

As I said before, I would like to get into the mind of Paulo Sousa. If 13,900 fans, plus all the ones watching the game at home can see we should be playing two up front at home, why is he sticking to playing the one front?

The only answer can be a degree of arrogance and a single-minded attitude to playing a system, trying to prove to himself that he is right and we are wrong.

You have to question having two wingers, why have no central striker to aim for? You have to question the formation, when your lone striker is De Carmine. If you have two wingers bombing down the wing, where are you aiming your goalscoring opportunities? Okay, it can be argued that De carmine scored, but honestly if we had played a 4-4-2 formation we would have more chances.

Why is he leaving our best goalscorer on the bench? Why, when a player has been out for three weeks, did he leave Helgusson on the bench? Helgusson had been training for the majority of the week!!

Cerny has also been training this week . Then you have Damion Stewart, my instant reaction was on Friday when I knew he wasn't playing was to say "niggling injury", well that was the logical explanation. I'm afraid folks, he was fit, but Soousa wanted to tinker. This after solid defences performances and Stewart being pivotal in keeping the goals away.

We were (still are) in a challenging position for the play offs, why are not going for it? Why are we not killing off games and then playing one up front?

Have to say, from a fans point of view its the earliest I#ve seen fans turn on a manager. Did we have reason? I think so, because we are not rooted near the bottom when every point is vital, we need wins. I just hope Sousa takes the common sense approach and realises especially at home, you do not win games by giving the opposing teams the initiative straight from kick off. You go and try and get the game won, when you do that, then go defensive.

Do you agree with this sort of posting?

No, he was s.hite for Paladini which in turn meant he was s.hite for you.

His games to loss ratio suggests differently.

I would never say he was spectacular but s.hite???

Only Permanent Coach we have had where there has never been a suggestion that things on the pitch was ever about to implode and that includes Dowie who IMO was on the cusp of a string of bad results as there was plenty of evidence for it from the 14/15 games I watched under him.

I think you'll find that is wrong, I was speaking to another board member at the POTY do, I asked about Sousa and I was told that the board had asked Sousa to go for it but never did. I'm not saying that was the reason why he was sacked because we all clearly know the reason after that post on here by someone who was pro Sousa, that's why he is not here today.

Oh right thanks for clearing that up....

Back to reality do you not think the 2 x European Cup Winner knew best, isn't he proving that now at Swansea. Maybe Sousa felt without complete control he could not 'go for it' and before you say he had complete control the Helguson and Blackstock incidents suggest otherwise.

Sousa wasn't sacked because of that thread on here, Sousa was sacked because Paladini see him as a threat to his meal ticket at QPR, simple as that.

Problem is Mutley - we will never know.

Keane took over at Ipswich...and is only just starting to put things together.
Maybe wrong...but Sousa in first few matches at Swansea did not set place on fire.Slowly he has turned an average team into a playoff contender.Punching well above their weight. He didn't set this place on fire....but maybe in time given the time by the board...he could have taken us to playoff contenders.

Our trouble is.....lose half a dozen games of 3 ..then get sacked. We are in a worse position now then last years finish......

                              • w12ranger Thats the only logical explanation why you love the guy so much.

Your wrong of course, but now I understand.

You didn't like Sousa because he had a good record, you simply felt it was the best way of ousting Gianni

likewise a manager who did well De Canio

You don't like him, because you perceive he had a good relationship with Gianni. You couldn't possibly like De Canio for that reason.

truth is all the managers got on with him. Unless Sousa leaked sensitive information to the fans?

All making sense now. As I say record books will show he wasn' that great for us, but good luck at Swansea.
