It was 9 games in the most crucial part of the season Feb/March when we were one point off the play offs. You should move on, looking back is never a good thing.

Paulo Sousa has gone into the history books of QPR managers, just like Alan Mullery.

You seem intent on defending a record of no wins in 9, but having a go at magitlon?? As I said, it really is time to move on, most find this subject tedious and boring and you only come out of the woodwork after a defeat.
Whilst it's always nice to rewrite history to suit your own purposes, let me actually remind you of the actual REALITY:

In a statement made by Flav in flawless English after Sousa's sacking, it was confirmed that the Board became "very disappointed" with Sousa after the 3-1 defeat by Ipswich. Check it out, you should be able to find it in the Offish archives. I never could work out what this had to do with sacking him for disclosing commercially sensitive confidential information, but there you go.

In an amazing coincidence, you posted the first of your countless threads criticising Sousa after the same defeat. This remember was only Sousa's second defeat in fourteen games.

Now, maybe you are such a football connoiseur that watching us draw 0-0 offends your sensibilities more than watching us lose 5-1 at home. Not for the first time, it would leave you strangely out of step with almost every other Rangers fan. But I can not for the life of me understand why any fan chooses to attack a manager for losing his second game in 14 and then wants everyone to adopt a "wait and see" attitude over a manager who, despite having one of the strongest squads in the division, has won only once in 7 games, who has presided over a complete shambles of a defence almost since he set foot through the door, who cannot take any responsibility for the incessant tinkering with the team and who instead ritually humiliates his players publicly.

And I'll tell you what, let's give it five years and see whether Paulo Sousa and Alan Mullery should be mentioned in the same breath. Mullery you will remember was Rangers manager who, despite having one of the strongest squads and best defences in the division, presided over a complete shambles almost since he set foot through the door, could not take any responsibility for the horrendous results that followed and who instead ritually humiliated his players publicly. Remind you of anyone?

    • I just don't get it..

Probably best just to leave it..

We are alking about a manager who didn't win one game in nine, yet you and a couple of others defend him to the hilt, because at this stage his Swansea team has 1 more point than us

Magilton has not won one game in 4 (not 7 like some alluded too earlier). Its early December and we are 2 points off the play offs, yet you won't defend Magilton.

Lets see where we are at the end of the season compared to Swansea before going into long drawn out debates, because at this stage it is rather irrevelant.

Been here before with you when you couldn't get why people were screaming for a striker.

When you were commenting on our game at Swansea, you said that the Swansea team were extremely poor, looked like they'd struggle to stay up. And you've continually said we have a strong squad. So we have Paulo Sousa, a manager who most wanted to stay but who you campaigned to have removed who is OVERACHIEVING with his squad, and Magilton who no one wanted and who is UNDERACHIEVING with his squad.

Does this help you to "get it"?

                • Bernies. you were telling me to move on at the begiinning of the season, when we were winning and they losing. Holloway won tonight, so its not real big deal.

Get behind the current manager like you do an ex manager, then we will be okay. After all Sousa had only a 20% win ratio, yet you treat him like a wavering hair goddess.

Me neither. The only ones that might be surprised that such a ###x could be a decent manager appear to be board members and message board proprietors.

Pete, I NEVER told you to move on re Sousa, so don't try using the same sort of lies and smears with me that you did with him.

And for you of all people to tell anyone to "Get behind the current manager" is hypocrisy of the highest order, though I doubt you're even bright enough to realise it.

                        • I'm bright enough to realise it..You'll just a person with double standards.

Sousa gets your backing, though the football was dire and he couldn;t win a game for ages, yet we get beat in two games and you want Magilton to go. As I said, doesn't make much sense to me and I'm sure the majority would agree

You either really don't realise what you're on about in which case it's sad but forgiveable, or you realise exactly what you are saying in which case you are cynically treating anyone who doesn't toe the Board's line with contempt. And only you will know the reasons why you would want to do that.

                            • Totally my call, doubt if the board are particularly happy with results to be honest. So no party line from me.

I saw not long ago, great football, stylish play, free flowing confidence throughout the whole team, players played in their right positions and spirit to win 4 games away easily. That was not under Sousa, but under Magilton.

I'm not going to give up after 2-3 games, we have at least another 20 odd to go before I start making my feelings known like I did with Sousa. I think you'll find I was totally behind him, until we lost at home to Norwich, then I started to have serious doubts. I have no worries that Swansea will find themselves in a challenging position only to ###x it up. This issue should really be discussed in MAY, not early December. Its very boring.

Your first thread slating Sousa appeared the evening after the Ipswich game. Give me access to the old board and I'll go back and find it if you like. That was after only his second defeat in fourteen - yes, just FOURTEEN - games in charge. Yet for some reason, Magilton gets 40 games before you deign to deliver your judgment. Why is that??
