In a statement made by Flav in flawless English after Sousa's sacking, it was confirmed that the Board became "very disappointed" with Sousa after the 3-1 defeat by Ipswich. Check it out, you should be able to find it in the Offish archives. I never could work out what this had to do with sacking him for disclosing commercially sensitive confidential information, but there you go.
In an amazing coincidence, you posted the first of your countless threads criticising Sousa after the same defeat. This remember was only Sousa's second defeat in fourteen games.
Now, maybe you are such a football connoiseur that watching us draw 0-0 offends your sensibilities more than watching us lose 5-1 at home. Not for the first time, it would leave you strangely out of step with almost every other Rangers fan. But I can not for the life of me understand why any fan chooses to attack a manager for losing his second game in 14 and then wants everyone to adopt a "wait and see" attitude over a manager who, despite having one of the strongest squads in the division, has won only once in 7 games, who has presided over a complete shambles of a defence almost since he set foot through the door, who cannot take any responsibility for the incessant tinkering with the team and who instead ritually humiliates his players publicly.
And I'll tell you what, let's give it five years and see whether Paulo Sousa and Alan Mullery should be mentioned in the same breath. Mullery you will remember was Rangers manager who, despite having one of the strongest squads and best defences in the division, presided over a complete shambles almost since he set foot through the door, could not take any responsibility for the horrendous results that followed and who instead ritually humiliated his players publicly. Remind you of anyone?
