I know some doubt his ability following serious injuries but I think he is going to completly turn the team around when he is back. He is a genuine winger like Routledge which is what we are missing on the left. Although Buzsaky and Taarabt are qualty players they are not genuine wingers. Cookie will run at defenders, get to the by line and put in quality balls which I feel we have missed from the left!

doubt he's the answer, another crock.
we need players for the position, STOP PLEASING AGENTS,DIRECTORS OR EGO'S OF PLAYERS.
we look tired again...the last international break seems to have done for us.
no blip, it's no wins in 6....
good football, agreed
pts?? 2 from 12!
goals against , 5,2,2,1,=10
for= 1,2,0,1=4
sums it up.

Yeh agree that current form is shocking, just don't understand how we can go from being a quality side looking like we can beat anyone, to lets be honest a side where at the moment can't see where our next point will come from in the space of a few weeks!

I don't see the point of playing cookie until we resolve the striker issue.
What is the point of Cookie and WR constantly whipping in crosses for no one to get on the end of them? We need a big strong lump that is an aerial threat and will hold the ball up and give simpson much needed support. Until we get that striker, then Cookie will have no positive effect.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We could resolve the striker issue by playing Vine & Simpson, Dave & Simpson or Dave and Vine. The problem is (i think) Magilton has to play Buzz, Tarabbt and Routledge and 3 into 2 does not go, so one plays of Simpson, preventing another striker playing.
