Really? We have always been closer to a mid table team in terms of points then we ever have been to be a top two team.

Show me when we were a good side - 5 matches out of 19 isn't the results of a good team.

Sirpie, apologies, but when you ask

When did we become a good team? Think the answer is pretty obvious.

We've got Tarrabt and Simpson in. Watson and Faurlin and we should have sound defence, if football was played on paper we would easily have a Top 6 finish in us. Even managers who have played against us agree.

Having good players doesn't make you a good team though.

I'm not knocking the quality of Taraabt, Simpson etc it's just that people believe we are a good team because of 5 results. When we beat Stoke 3-0, Watford 4-2 under De Canio were we a good team or did we just have a few good results amongst some poor ones?

7 points from the opening 6 matches and 6 points from the last 6 isn't the results of a good team.

Pete it isn't overnight though, is it?

Leicester, Palace, Weds, Doncaster, Coventry and Middlesbro have yielded 5 points from 18 and that includes 4 games at home and 4 against sides from the bottom half.

I would say this is a dreadful run and in all honesty, I would have thought 16 points from those games was more than realistic.

Apart from a short good run against Preston, Barnsley, Newcastle, Reading Derby, QPR have been an ordinary side and I don't think the Board are happy with that.

Sirpie, I responded to Pete's first post without reading the rest.

I have said almost the same thing, although QPR have only picked up 5 points from the last 6 games.

QPR have got some good players, but JM has not moulded them into a team. A team defends better than QPR do. A team does better in front of goal (passing to players in a better position helps).

QPR started off poorly for the 1st 6 games, had a good spell for the next 7 and returned to being poor in the next 6.

In your opinion. Which I do respect but you have to remember that this is your opinion and not everyone will agree with you.

I think we are a mid table team at best. I would love to be proven wrong but the table doesn't lie. It says we are as close to relegation as we are to the top two.

We got 16 points from 21 in the next 7 matches but have gone back to the form that we started the season (6 points from the last 6 games).

Are we a good team or did we just have one very good spell?
spot on... form is temporary - class is permanent.

not too hard to work out which part we are

We've let it slip big time. Only 4 weeks ago, we were 6 points off Newcastle United??

Really do think based on our performances in October, everyone was feeling confident our team looked good, after a few tinkers and injuries, it seems we are back to square one

the team were rowing with each other saturday, why?
do we have a real capt real leader??

buzza no winger, routs no forward...watson is a crab, sideways....

i can't cry for players, they take the acclaim and take the blame, it goes round.

the football is very good, entertaining BUT NOT WINNING US GAMES.
