I love the style of football we are trying to play, but too much football and intricate passes are played in and around our penalty area by our own players - whatever happened to the skill of turning defence quickly into attack by lumping the ball upfield?

The great teams of yesteryear used to seize opportunities on the counter attack. It seems to me that mostly we need to pass teams to death before getting near goal. A bit too elaborate at times.
