I wonder will this make a big difference in renewals.
After the recent events it seems people are making decisions based on the way we have been treated, the sacking of the manager and the way it was engineered, as well as basic financial restraints. Does 5% (or 7.5%) go far enough for those against renewing?

To be honest it might make the difference in me renewing, especially the time extension.
Not very happy with the current situation all round but its hard to walk away isnt it.

But what else would you do on a saturday, I know for a fact come 2pm I would be getting itchy feet and wanting to head to Rangers if I didn't get one.

Spot on mate and like all clubs QPR know the bottom line is that most fans eventually give in and stump up.

10% would have been a better reduction, but all in all, I'll settle for the 5% and the extension. I will be renewing my ticket.
Perhaps, and I'm not about to start holding my breath here, Briatore will have learned a valuable lesson about dismissing the loyal QPR fan base as being an irrelevant irritant.
Well, let's hope so.

5% seems like F-all to me.
Clever business, hike the prices by a fortune, **** the fans off and offer a ****y reduction to appease them.
20% would have sounded more like it.
Economy if up the shoot and people are losing hundreds in overtime and the likes (look at Honda) and they offer that.
Nothing more than expected.
I feel sorry for you guys buying season tickets. I bet on the day prices will go up later. The future's bright...the future is blue and white.

Neo,
I understand your sentiments and have a great amount of sympathy for them.
However, and I do not wish to appear to be defending the board as they have made some major misjudgements and mistakes, they alone cannot be held responsible for the financial hardship of all our fans and have no obligation to bear this burden on their own.
They have at least made a gesture, albeit not as big a one as I would have hoped, but people should try to put aside the owner's personal wealth for a moment and realise that they should not be expected to have invested their money purely to make life easier for us fans.
Having said that, they have only themselves to blame for the current animosity being shown towards them, mainly due to lack of proper communication and the arrogance that led to it. When I think back to the amount of goodwill they inherited at the time of the takeover, it is astonishing that they have wasted that in such a short space of time.
