1st goal, rubbish tackle by hall, free kick and he lost kitson who scored
2nd goal, stood there and should have cleared the cross that led to the pen
3rd goal, stood off lita, allowed him into the box and get his shot away
4th goal, stood in no mans land with a 'what the f is going on here' look on his face
5th goal nowhere to be seen

Stewart was our player of the season last year and should be an automatic choice.

Hall is an embarrassment to the shirt.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.... This is one outrageous thread and this post is ridiculous too

Yeah Hall wasn't great but did you honest put Leigertwoods and Gorkks ahead of him on Saturday!

FACT 1 - 1ST GOAL - Wasn't a free kick in the first place. THEN Kitson was Leigertwood maker on all set pieces. Hall's Man on Saturday from all set pieces and corners was Wheater [POP by HQ and see if you can get a copy of the A3 flip chart that is in the dugout of all set pieces the club goes through prior to games]. I have copies of old set piece plays if you want to see them but not got Saturdays as I was too pished off to stay to the end of the game!

FACT 2 - 3RD GOAL - After giving away a silly penalty and going 2 - 0 down WE RESPOND with a very quick goal. Pressure builds up and Rangers were pressurising Boro on for that **** at RB Leigertwood to give the ball away on

FACT 3 - 4TH GOAL - Gorkss back off and back off of Lita. Should have put him up in the air when he was 35 yards out from goal. Instead he let him run at him and decided to attempt to make a tackle when he was inside our own box. Get real people FFS!

Don't know if I can claim this as FACT 4 as I was too ****ed off to stay any longer than 73mins so I never see the 5TH GOAL but on the radio they again said that again like he was all game, Leigertwood was out of position and at fault for the last goal.

Some Rangers supporters can't see the wood from the trees. There was at least 3 players out there worse than Hall and yet look at how everyone point the finger at him and not a mention of Leigertwood. It astonishes me as to what game some people are really watching.

Why therefore is he being picked?

It isn't Hall's fault, and we should (including myself) maybe tone down our criticism of him as a fella, but his football is mistake-ridden, and defenders need consistency.

I once asked a friend of mine who played Premiership for Saints and Millwall (centre back) why it is that cup shocks happen, but over a season the same teams generally win. All he said was that the better players have a much smaller margin between their best and worst games. Consistency. The better players are 7/10 players minimum, and regularly. Especially defenders. Players like Hall make costly mistakes nearly every game.

Consistency is one thing Hall has in spades - he is consistently shi te, as is confirmed by your last sentence - costly mistakes nearly every game - so he must be first name on the team sheet for being the most consitent player!? :very_sad:

Flavio pays Fitz Hall lots more than Flavio pays Damion Stewart or Kaspars Gorkks.

        Do you get my drift?

one of the later goals they scored was three on two, we got caught on the break, so who's to blame for that?

Wow Dazzer you're a fact machine and thats a fact. Next time you are sitting in on the pre-match team talk, be sure to ask Magilton to draw a picture of his best back four and tell him to stick to it. Here's a clue, it includes our player of the season from last year.

Here's the only fact I care about. Fitz Hall is crap.

Legs had a bad game also. Not as pathetically woeful as Hall but bad nonetheless. That will happen when Magilton insists on playing players out of position.

Lets see what happens tonight. If Fitz starts, we lose. Fact.

Dazzer - first of all, goal 3 was mostly Hall's fault. He defended like a schoolboy against Lita.

Secondly, people are down with Hall because he is consistently making mistakes that cost us games. Nearly every game he makes an individual error that leads to a goal. That is not good enough.

Pete, I'm sorry, I would have posted earlier but I've been rolling on the floor laughing for a good hour now.

I believe you mentioned Sousa, when all at QPR was hunky dory, asking if the "off-message crew" were happy that now we'd got shot of him we weren't subjected to dire 0-0's and poor football.

You cant have it both ways fella.

True, trouble is this is a one game mulling ( you could add Doncaster to that as well), last season was 3 months worth of dire, boring football. We have abit of way to go yet, even to match that.
