  • January...

Is vital, i think that we need more options and need to strengthen the team as a whole and provide cover, with injuries and suspensions, a lack of investment in january will hold us back and not allow us to reach our full potential, therefore, for christmas I would like: Gareth Bale, Matthew Kilgallon,Leon Best,Ben Watson, a right back, replacement for mahon and gary hooper please with this flavio court case coming up i fear that we will not spend a lot, and if we dont go up, buzz + routledge will leave and simpson + taarabt + watson will not sign, so it is vital that we spend big in this window.

    p.s drop that donkey hall

We need a leader centre back, we need a captain and a defensive ball winner in midfield like Gavin Mahon, then the goals will come.

we do, but we also need a big fella up with simpson, best or hulse hold up the ball well and score, I think conolly needs to be played at right back if leighterwood doesnt improve, and a left back (bale) to replace borrowdale (who has done nothing wrong, but imo we need better to get promoted) any idea on how much we will spend/including loanees (watson)

personally don't think we will spend anything at all....might extend a couple of loans......club are not ambitious enough.

how are they not ambitious enough? We average less than 13k a game and we've got players from spurs, arsenal, signed routledge and faurlin. If we spend Xm on players we hope to get us up.....and then we don't, who's going to pay their wages in championship next season?
Let's stick with loan policy....we weren't complaining last month

we weren't complaining.....ok....if you say so...we have been calling out for strikers for 2 years........have they been bought...no
they bring in reid (another sicknote)....walks straight in the team and there goes the consistency.......loan players are just playing for a contract or fitness...not for the club.

tarrabt has been awesome for us. Got simpson in who's scored plenty of goals. one up front is best for us if we want to play buz, tarrabt and routledge. I think if we should take anything from today and recent average form it's that we need a decent defence not strikers

i honestly think on current form i'd play:

                  cerny
                  conolly--stewart--gorkks-borrowdale
                  routledge--watson--faurlin--taarabt
                  simpson--vine

and in january replace borrowdale, stewart and buy a striker + lb and if they want to be nice a hard hitting midfielder would be nice

we have the same defenders at the club we had last season....so now tell me why it's different....only one reason...the tinkerman.

Kind of agree but stewart is in not quite as good form and was dropped after leicester game. Quite a few agreed with that choice.

maybe so...but with any good defence consistency is the key....the longer they play together the tighter they get....how many clean sheets did we get last season......Jim should have left the defence alone and concentrated on midfield and up front....
