I stayed to the end, always have and always will. Despite all the doom and gloom Boro were not 4 goals better than us things just went very well for them on the day. If you had said to anyone on 20 mins the score would be 5-1 they would have only seen QPR winning. But as has happened many times this season we did not convert our supiority into goals and Boro punished that. What the game highlighted was our need for a striker like Kitson and that Hall has to be replaced as he is simply not up to it and that Legs is not a right back.

Stayed till the end, because we can't get where we need to go until they re-open South Africa Road.
A couple of players applauded us -- notably Gorkss, who I applauded back, because him and Borrodale were trying to do the job of four men between them.

Interesting. Without wishing to start an arguement, why applaud that load of abject rubbish ? Is it because you feel you have to ? is it because you think the playes care that much ? quite obviuosly they don't if only Gorkss applauded back, or is it that you don't get emotionally involved in the game to the point where you feel sick to the stomach at the humiliation like I did.

I walked, as did thousands of others as the fourth hit the net. No way back. Whats the point of torturing yourself seeing your team taken to the cleaners. Are you the sort of person who goes "oh well" and laughs and jokes as you leave the ground with a smile on your face ?

If you are then I truly envy you, because I wish I could be like that. I hate everyone when we lose, can barely speak with disappointment, and it absolutely ruins my day.

Those players are living the dream. Money, job they love, security for life. When they perform as poorly, and look as disinterested as they did, and are responsible for the worst home defeat in a zillion years.....what the hell makes people applaud them off the pitch. What are you applauding ? Surely applause is an action of appreciation and I for one didn't appreciate what I saw.

I can only assume it's out of some assumption of utter loyalty that you HAVE to stay and clap if your a TRUE loyal supporter, and I'm not just talking about yourself, that goes for everyone that applauded and stayed until the end.

It's interesting as I said. I'd love to know what makes someone stay, when my instinct is to get as far away from the place as possible. It's like watching you puppy being tortured ! :waaaht:
