may of lost 5-1, but how proud it was to be a ranger, when the drips and draabs left in the ground, all was standing singing, "rangers till i die" we support you evermore, 5-1 defeat but how good it was to see that on a positive note!

I was one of the many drips and drabs.........

drenched and crestfallen and with two soaked and dejected young boys with my party so my conscience is clear old chap... well done you but with all due respect if that is the only positive thing that you can take from your day at LR today then it speaks volumes to me!!:very_sad:

To be honest if you are local then maybe there is somewhat of an expectation to appear loyal and diehard. But, when you have the best part of 90miles to get home and you are cold, wet and thoroughly miffed with young children then I'd like to think that we can be excused any scorn......

The only other times that I have left early are the Arsenal cup match about 6 or 7yrs ago. When we were 6-0 down with 15mins to go I genuinely feared double figures and I could not have witnessed that level of shame. Early 90's we played Sheff Weds and were 4-1 down and I left with about 2mins of injury time to go and that's it.

I've got no problem with people leaving early in general but, there are times when you dip out like, a couple of seasons ago when we came back to 2-2 against PNE........ that was awesome!!

If you think im staying to the end cheering and singing your deluded the worst home performance in years it costs alot of money to watch that rubbish and im concerned now and after watford and wba its going to be far worse than concerned.

we're not slating anyone from going i dont blame you and especially those with young kids i can only imagine the trip home. hope it was alright ahR. It was just a good laugh and nice to see when many teams would of not got 1 song going with that score line unless it was to slate the team! very well done boys. definetly soften my trip back to Oxford. oh well role on Watford and WBA
