Yeah thats right and there migh be more to come.

Why don't we fill the advertising boards around the ground, we are losing money everyday.

I am quite suprised that we can't sell our advertising boards when you consider the contacts our owners must have.

The problem is that we can, joe bloggs around the corner was happy to advertise before but now there all gone.

That extra money they charging us for ST could have stayed down if the got these adverts in.

          Myu agree and spot on!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Maybe though.......... to attract the big name sponspors, they demand a certain association of more upmarket advertisers.... it's not as black and white as you guys suggest I think.

I think it is as the boards have been empty for like 2 seasons.

How much money did we lose last year, our ST prices could have stayed down and all the fan base would have remained happy.

If we wait for these big guns... could be here a very long time/years.

Next year the club should be looking to fill these slots because we fans shouldn't have to make up for their loss.

If the club can fill those slots and they kept the prices the same then fair enough.

The only people losing out here is the fans and so is the club for not working to get them filled.

Perhaps those boards are only meant to carry adverts from the club's sponsors i.e. Gulf Air, Lotto, Santander Toyo etc. It might have been a package deal.

great investment has come in and more may follow...we were a sinking ship 3 yrs ago??
sellotape sponsored us for £10k for a season!

i can't see why as under/near flight path we don't sell space on the roof
re-name stadium as an urgent priority...what happened to the kingfisher thing??

every £££ in could be helping to improve squad...going up is vital as it releases the big money CLAUSES...
myu raises a good point with using revenues to keep prices low.
the higher attendances have COINCIDED WITH CHEAP TICKET OFFERS....NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

The revenue those boards bring in is negligible and negatively affect the aesthetic of the stadium and detract from premium sponsors. Internal stadium decoration should, imo, be limited to club branding and 1st tier sponsors. Cleaner stadium provides added value to these sponsors and protects their value.

Turning the stadium into a version of Exchange and Mart does no one any long term favours.

Investment in the LED advertising hoardings in camera view is the way forward.
