Kyle Bartley is a very good CB, surprised he didnt start to be honest.

He will be in their first team in 2-3 years.

Well most of the good ones have been involved with the first team this season, and with the injuries are likely to continue, so that rules out Traore, Vele, Wilshire, Ramsey etc. As for Eboue, he's always in the first team squad so another non starter....

I share the sentiments above though, as good as Simpson has been and these guys i'm sure would be (as guided in the right way at Arsenal), i would rather us start to build our own squad.

What's the point of getting promoted with a team of gifted loan players, who may never play for us again. It's not as simple as saying we'll sign them, because some may not want to come, and others may have the price hiked up meaning our owners may not bother, even with the Prem riches imminent in that instance. The last thing we want to be doing if promoted is trying to get a new team with loads of new faces to gel against the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea and the rest... we would get our rears spanked completeley and embarrass ourselves in the process.....

Connolly was captain of their reserves if i recall... didn't do him many favours. Didn't he play in the cup game when the kids did Liverpool 6-3 at Anfield, but not manyother times?
