Balanta, when fit and available will add to the strike force without a doubt. What concerns me however is that he doesn't provide the answer to plan B as he is no more likely to win long balls than any other striker we have.

That issue needs resolving if we are to win ugly when the need arises.

Thanks, I do not pretend to know as much about QPR as you or somebody else here does nor do I expect everyone to laugh at my jokes. That is beside the point really, the point being moderation. Nothing wrong with starting with a friendly warning, but you and friendliness do not seem to mix, so it is a moot point in your particular case.
I have actually defended you when this thread was discussed with other moderators, as I saw you being provoked. Why did I bother? It has been decided that you are on your last warning and I do not advise you to shoot this particular messenger.

I think Vine is better than Balanta and agree that he has been unlucky not to have scored at least 5 goals this season - how many times has he hit the woodwork or seen the keeper, make a great save?

For me, Balanta is too small to play alongside Simpson, but he is a better finisher and has a better 1st touch than Routledge. So if QPR are to play with another small striker alongside Simpson, Balanta might be the better option and Routledge can go back to the left wing.

This leaves a battle for the right wing between Taarabt and Buzsaky, although the latter might be able to play in the centre alongside Faurlin at Watson's expense.

The good thing is, that if all players are fit, JM has choices, but unfortunately none include a real aerial threat.
