But do you honestly think that one day Flavio would have thought 'I know,i am gonna buy a football club.QPR are gonna be wound down by the taxman.I will buy them'.

It was GP's persistance that convinced Flavio and Co. to invest in us.He found them, not they found and saved us.

do you really think flavio was talked into buying a football club by paladini. this is a man who has made millions of pounds in sports. one day gianni walks up and just tells him to buy rangers and he says yes. no chance.

he will have notified alot of people that qpr was actively seeking a new buyer. then it was over to those involved. flavio and his "people" would have done their homework first and then made a firm offer.

these people are not just talked round.

flavio should be praised for taking the risk

lol Ha9 ranger - apologies - but in your first reply to people - you have said this is a messegaboard for peoples opinions - but it does appear - that unless people agree with your opinion (on this matter) you do appear to get irate ...

Having said that - this is a subject that i feel will bring mixed views to the table as Pete as said, and people are not going to change their opinions.

Im not a massive fan of GP , but i also do not know enough about the man to make that much of an opinion.

A certain plus thought - is that he has appeared to keep his opinions under wraps lately - something a few season agao he had trouble doing. Also - if he was doing that bad a job - the powers to be would have sacked him by now.

I think some fans get cheesed off with the " saviour" of our club. Many fans before Gp arrived were digging deep into their pockets - going to home away games - standing with buckets etc.. fund raising by M/boards etc... OK - maybe not putting house on the line - but we are also not getting a big wage from the club.

Flavio told Gianni that he would get back to him regarding QPR, some say he thought QPR was a restaurant, it was only until once race where Flavio was on the starting grid that the media were surrounding him asking questions about QPR. That's when he knew it was something he wanted to play part in.

He re-mortgaged his house to buy into the club intially. £600k if memory serves me right.

Just out of interest Wembley/HA9, do you practice at being such a tube? From spammer of LFW and all-round bell-end to Report-esque copy/paste of newsnow, through to fully fledged Gianni-batty-boy. Remarkable track record. Stilll, people re-inventing themselves on WATRB is nothing new, right Scott/Pete?
