      Great minds think alike.

I saw that goal and didn't think he was offside, but difficult angle

Looked a perfectly good goal to me, and created by Buzsaky drifting into the hole where he's most effective.

Wasn't it the same Ref that allowed the beach ball to score against Liverpool a few weeks back? Need I say any more....

Yes it was the same Ref!. I've seen the goal from every angle that it has been shown, and I still think Simpson was in line, therefore on side. Was not at the game, but comms said on a few goal kicks their keeper took it outside of his area before kicking the ball. If this was the case, very poor work from the officials.
When will Refs and linesmen all sing from the same hymn sheet?
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

I assumed it was offside at the time. I was at opposite end and had no way of knowing when it happened.

Watched the highlights on World and it doesn't look off to me.

We were right on top of the lino in A block...... he basically had a shocker!

Remember also, he flagged Routledge offsside, when Routlidge seeing the ball coming, stopped running, stood still and basically stood to attention, to clearly indicate that he wasnt interfering with play..... the ball then went out for what should have been a corner, but the silly old git gave offside, and the ref gave a goal kick!!!!!

I found that decision to rule Routledge offside baffling to say the least. At what point, under the current rules, was he 'active'?

In the 2nd half, the ref also failed to book a Coventry player for a deliberate handball and in the 1st half failed to book another player when he tried taking a free kick whilst the ref was in conversation with a player - both of these offences were deemed as 2nd yellow cards for Watson.

YES! I'm glad I'm not the only one who spotted this! He was just stood in an offside position, he didnt go near the ball and he didnt stop anyone getting to the ball therefor he wasnt interfering with play and so it should have been a corner!

he flagged routledge offside once when someone had a shot that deflected out for a corner and he just stood there and didnt do anything
