  • A question Re: ADEL

Has he EVER played a full 90 minutes for us?

If so it can surely only be once or twice.

Many feel he frustrates and delights in equal measure but for me he is the sort of player I part with my hard earned for to watch. It's called "entertainment".

FFS can we not just accept he's not going to chase back 70 yards and put in a crunching sliding tackle and just give him the ball and let him do his thing (Pele in Escape to Victory!!!)

He was enjoying himself yesterday, got at least 2 Cov players booked and was creating space all around him - hindsight I know but imagine what he could've done last 10 minutes playing against 10 men!?!?

So how many full shifts has the lad done?
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Does seem to be taken off alot.Yesterday he looked our most threatening player, while Buzz was pretty poor, yet still got subbed.

    Strange.

Seems quite odd to me. But it could be as simple as Magilton and Gorman are anxious about the last minutes?? I was thinking of letting goals inn when we are eyeing a draw. Also, as I understand it, we havent got that many strikers to score a winner at all.:surrender::byebye:

Postmatch Magilton did state that he much likely would adress the "striker" issue to the owners come the January window.Accusitions Likely to happen or not.

he is 22 for god's sake...fit,young..he should be bending lamp posts, as i was when 22!
now near 22 stone, different story hahahahaaha

he should be able to do 120 mins flat out...

it is difficult to make judgements on this unless you are actually in there in the thick of it. He may want to come off being physically finished. JM and JG are not thick. they know he is a matchwinner, there is clearly some reason why they keep taking him off,(would like to know what it is though)

why he took him off on sat and kept Buzz on is a bit of a mystery to me, I think he is exciting and gives us a spark....that in turn can excite the crowd and encourage team mates.

15 minutes if you include the 5 added on for stoppages.

He took him off because he was trying to contain the game at 2-1 up. VERY risky tactic if you ask me. And even then, why on earth take off your most dangerous player?!! Magilton got it hopelessly wrong. Poor call.
