  • cerny...is he dodgy

some nervy kicks again today...one good save early on but nowhere near their goals...

then again with another tinkered with back 4 maybe he is justifiably worried??

Was his fault for the 2nd goal, even Magilton said that.

Did make a top save early doors though.

He will always make top saves as he is a top shot saver like most top two division 'keepers. And that's my problem; the majority of you lot are drawn in by that. He doesn't talk enough and relies too much on punching to be considered 'good on crosses'.

I have consistently said he's a disaster waiting to happen; that's at least two games he's cost us points in this season; how many could you pin on Camp, the 'keeper most of you thought was much worse?

Still don't think there is much between him and Camp.

Cerny has never been great with crosses.

what's even more worrying is we brought in the youngster from Chelsea on loan then he doesn't even get on the bench we have an untried youngster in McSweeney (sorry but never heard of him) on the bench so really what competition has Cerny got, you could tell that Madge isn't happy with Cerny but could he really afford to bring in one of the youngsters, i don't think so & if that is the case then what a waste of a loan Thomas was, we could have brought in a forward, unless of course GP doesn't want one how else is he going to justify some of his weird signings

He's not a dodgy keeper. He is having a dodgy spell. Whether having 4 different people in front of him each week is affecting that is a moot point.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

His lack of height is the main reason why he does not command his area, on the plus side he does make some excellent saves and his distribution has improved immensely since Magilton took over.

imo he is dodgy hes a good shot stopper exactly like lee camp, he has the same problem of not coming for croses.
i think that we should sign that heaton and give him a go from what i saw in the 2 games he played he was comfortable and solid and hes young.
against chelsea half them shots he saved bounced just in front of him on a slippy surface and he dealt with them i think some of them cerny would spill.
some will say how many times has cerny saved us in games which he has now and again with some cracking saves but how many times has he cost us?
both goals yesterday he should have at least touched.
                        good back up imo

agree a different back 4 every 10 mins can't help him....
has he recovered from the leics debacle!?

                          cmon radek...sort it.
                          belief is all.

he is good but he costs us 4 points in last 4 games. I think there no trust between him and the defense. jim should stick with the best 4 back even if we loose some games. should deveolop some understanding between cerny and especially the 2 full back front of him.

He is an average keeper. Having a dodgy patch. I did think he was good for some time, because he can be quite spectacular.
