yes some qpr fans were banned for fighting
i recall when basically qpr got bullied
then a new era came, not saying it's right but suddenly you knew your shoulder was covered if there was barney rubble ( trouble)
going millwall with a proper show out...
some bans dished out were for minor things on trains coming back from games and police making arrests and making the case.
you can get a ban for many things.

a few moved to the empty "A" block in SAR , and lasted 4 games and were effectively moved from being near away fans...
i wonder why our singers etc are so far from the enemy?

and back to the point, i never heard any thing other than generous applause
but if some did make silly chants, quite sad really.

I'm British by birth and English by the grace of god.

I've calmed down now but it was just a silly silly chant - which thankfully virtually no-one else heard

Threads like this P*#S me right off. Always brand the entire Qblock.

How about credit for trying to create atmousphere?

The lot of you can take a jump. Always quick to throw crap until it sticks (usually in Q block) and direct every single critticism at us whilst in the main you sit there saying nothing unless it's to #### the team off. Complete joke. Can't even be patriotic these days. So they sang 'they're all from england'?

May not have been correct, but it's hardly crime of the century, is it? I've got a few mates in the forces and stuff like this does nothing but make them proud.
            Your mum would love me...

agree its silly. many many heroes arent english, who give their life for our country, but annoys me how the english are losing our identity and our right to speak.

Mate, it was a stupid chant. If you were a soldier there yesterday originally from Jamaica - as one was who i spoke to pre match - you would have LOVED to hear that chant wouldnt you? Too many times idiotic things are sung from that part of the ground and people dont join in specifically because of the continuing idiocy. I now join in with upper loft guys and luke's lot over in SA Road.

for what it's worth it's just like supporting the English cricket team, the English Football team, the English rugby team, you get my drift not all English by birth but they are playing/fighting for "our country"

although i agree it was a bit pathetic, but harmless if you ask me & as you said only those in hear shot could've heard it ;D;D;D

Scott this "rant" doesn't have nothing to do with the "Jones" in you does it

no welsh in my family mate!!

This famous surname, widespread throughout the British Isles, and the most popular surname in Wales, one in ten Welsh people being so-called, is nethertheless of English medieval origins. It derives either from the male given name John, or its female equivalent Joan, both Norman French introductions after the 1066 Invasion. Both names are written as Jon(e) in medieval documents, and a clear distinction between them on the grounds of gender was not made until the 15th Century. However, because western society has almost invariably had a male as family head throughout history, bearers of the surname Jones are more likely to derive it from a patronymic form of John, than a matronymic form of Joan. The personal name John, ultimately from the Hebrew "Yochanan" meaning "Jehovah has favoured (me with a son)", has always enjoyed enormous popularity in Europe, and particularly so after the famous Crusades of the 12th century. The name, which is found in some four hundred spellings, is in honour of St. John the Baptist, the precursor of Christ. The surname as "Jones", first appears on record in England in the latter part of the 13th Century, and also features as one of the most numerous settler names in Ireland, having been introduced in the wake of the Anglo- Norman Invasion of 1170. It is now found in every Irish county, especially in the larger towns, and has also been Gaelicized as "MacSeoin". The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of Matilda Jones, which was dated 1273, in the "Hundred Rolls of Huntingdonshire", during the reign of King Edward 1st, known as "The Hammer of the Scots", reigned 1272 - 1307.

Scott, that's crap. They wouldn't have been offended by a chant that's slightly narrow minded.

That's not the reason for my rant anyway. You've started a thread criticising Q. As always, this is where the blame lies. You cannot, from where you're sitting be certain this is where it's from. R & P have 'singers' too. In fact R has some of the worst, and over critical fans at LR standing at the back. I moved from R for this reason. Please excuse my language, but d*#k heads throwing stuff at the linesman and instead hitting a girl aged about 8 on the back of the head. Drogba chants and Mourinho is gay ALL starting from there on many occasions.

It really winds me up when you pick Q block out and brand us all this way. Oh, Mahon got booed...got to be Q. It goes to show where the fans are who try to get behind their team sit. Even with the bad press, everything is in Q. We get behind our team every home game. I'm Q and I'm proud. Got a problem with it, try singing over there to help out next week.

Cannot really see what all the fuss is about though it should be pointed out that one of the seven who died this year from the Regiment was in fact from Fiji.
