  • FAO of Matthew and other overseas posters....

Take a moment, digest the result, kick the #### out of the cat/go ####in mental (delete as appropriate) and then LISTEN. listen to what has happened at the game through posters who have been to the game, your fellow supporters who will call it as they see it. Some talk rollocks, some talk sense and then, only then give your opinion, its a different game when watched live than on sky sports or comms
Last of all, dont forget, we are all Rangers at the end of the day and we will all rejoice one saturday in May after an extra time winner from Watson against them sheepsha99in9 barstewards

first home game ive missed this season due to work so i listened on comms but to be honest we been on a run of bad form for a few games now....Leicester and Palace games i thought we were poor and then that debacle at donny last week....pretty football in spurts coupled with defensive errors and no cutting edge, hope we scrape the play offs but im not holding my breath. If we finish mid table again then i reckon Jim could well be on his way.

Play Gorkss, don´t kick the cat, don´t tinker with the team, play our best players for 90 min and we all will be happy.

I never comment on a game that I have not attended or at least watched online. Audio commentary and post-match reviews are a poor substitute for first-hand impressions. So I agree with Ploughboy's sentiment that those who could not attend a game should first and foremost listen to those who did.

But this does not mean that we should say nothing, we are equally entitled to vent our frustration or express joy or share opinions on club issues that go beyond that game which we did not attend
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Firstly, i agree with the fact that there is no substitute for being at the game. That is obvious. But i dont see why you single out overseas fans when the majority of non attendees are in England or even more local in London.

Some overseas fans do come over and watch the games when they can.
Personally, i get over from Denmark for about 6-7 games. Throw in say 4-5 live games and the rest are through commentary and extended highlights on world. OK, again no substitute for being there every game but enough to form an opinion. For example, you dont have to be Einstein to know that constantly rotating your defenders is schoolboy error stuff.

My point is though, at 4.50 when the final whistle goes, that is the time when you are most emotional and have to vent your anger or joy. That is what the messageboards are for, and why you have chatrooms etc.
Yes, people are sometimes wrong, but then this is true of the people that attend the matches. Every week a player is described as awful and very good in the same thread by those priviledged enough to be able to go. Its all about opinions.

Fella, i respect your opinions on here, but you cant expect people to wait 4-5 hours for fans to come back from ie, Newcastle before posting their thoughts on the game. Its great that QPR has fans all over the world. Dont start alienating them.

I do agree about kicking the cat though

i take your point, i just get frustrated at people like Matthew, who after a disappointing result seems to revel in it and within minutes of the final whistle is spraffing nonsense. In hindsight i should have headed the thread "To all armchair supporters"
