Coventry had around 800, bottom tier only holds 1100

The offish said that 'Ellerslie silver section (where i sit) had single seats available only.

What about the rows of empty seats by me in X block?.

More porky pies from the offish to panic people into buying tickets.

1000 cov and no way 13000 there...so many empty seats and the entire upper school end was deserted.

Well it's bull**** that is not doing them any good.

I thought about going today but decided not to in case I couldn't get three seats together. (me and the two young'uns)

People are either gonna go to a game like today or they aint. Pretending seats are selling-out won't make folk panic-buy them - more likely to tip the scales for them AGAINST going.

If the club ARE telling porkies about this sort of thing - whoever is making the decision to use that tactic is an utter tool.

Well I had a the widest choice possible of where to sit when I rolled up at about half 2! Think the offish might have been stretching the truth somewhat, not like them!

Thats a good point. Whoevers brainwave it is to use these deceit tactitcs needs a few lessons in marketing. Many people go to football in groups of 3+ and if they are being told they cant get seats together, naturally it will make them think otherwise. Maybe im missing something here, but it does seem to be counter-productive.
