Agreed, MC is too weak in the air for a Championship CB.

No Connolly needs time been out a long time and the only cure for that is time in the middle. Yes he's not a crash bang wallop centre back but give him time he's pure class. Can come out with the ball at his feet play him along side Gorkss, Gorkss attacks the high ball Connolly drops off, simples.

Okay, I vented my anger after the Doncaster RoverS game, but today we were simply superb. You cannot win them all and If I have to be critical, it was with Magilton/s substitutions. I am not a lover of Ageymang, but this game in the last 15 minutes called for his pace, not Reid being played out wide right. Though, it didn't effect us drawing the game, don't know why Hall got the nod over Gorkss??

I felt we had put so much into the game, that many players were simply out on their feet in the last 15 minutes. Lets be honest, Watson should have scored twice, Tarrabt could have scored 3 times, one great chip that hit the bar, Faurlin had a great strike over the bar, Routledge had 2 great chances in the first half, Connolly had two headers over the bar and I could go on. COleman will be going back on the M1 knowing that he has just stole a point, I was delighted with our performance. We leave ourselves wide open at the back, and for me its one game and during the season you will get games like this. I have not seen us beat up a team like this in years. Obviously the striker critics, will point to lack of goals, but play like this the rest of the season, than a play off spot is forgone conclusion.

Okay, its disappointing we drew the game and it will take time to get over it, but I cannot fault the players effort and commitment. I predicted a draw today and whilst I am at it, we will win next SATURDAY.

Not much I can add to that, you summed it up well. One thing I will say, going to Loftus Rd this season is an absolute pleasure, I really only wanted to be entertained if nothing else, and boy, oh, boy, am I getting my money's worth or what!

Yep...We were very good today.

A midfield of Tarrabt, Buz, Faurlin and Routs with Simpson and A quality striker would rip this division to shreds

last 2 games, Buzsacky has been poor.

I'd even forgot to sing his song, until after he scored. He normally gets a rendition of it during the game

I thought attacking wise we were superb, could have had 5 on another day. I thought Watson, Faurlin, Taraabt and Routlege put in 9/10 performances.

But, we can't defend like a sunday league team and expect a top 6 finish. The contrast between defence and attack today was huge, we were so poor at the back and we shouldn't have conceded either goal. Magilton really needs to stop chopping and changing the back four, we need a settled defence if we want to do well this year.

A lot of people seem to assume with Gorkks back in it will solve our defensive problems, I'm not so sure I haven't been that impressed with him so far this season infact none of our CBs have covered themselves in glory!

yes it's great that we are playing teams off the park but for me it's all a bit of an anticlimax "plenty of foreplay with no penetration"

you said then, it'll take time, well some 16 games later & we're still dropping silly points at home

agreed that the defence sounded very shaky to say the least, every time the ball went into the box i was a bundle or nerves & that included Cerny whose been excellent this season (maybe his confidence has been shot away with the team selections) he reminded me when he 1st signed, great shot stopper but like dracula with crosses :devil:

you could say we've already had our purple patch ( 3 games on the trot scoring 4 goals)

you say it wasn't because of our strike force so 27 shots at goal 13 ON TARGET and we score 2 wasn't because our strikers/midfielders are not natural goalscorers ;D;D;D

what concerned me about Reid today, he was fresh as a daisy when he came on with 15 minutes, yet he still got done for pace.

Not sure, he is fit, that would be my big concern.
