Ok so in many ways it is 2 points dropped, hence my massive suprise when i saw we are sitting 5th in the league!
Today:
Buzsaky had a poor game imo, i know he scored, but, as soon as he gave away a needless freekick at 2-1 i knew we were gonna pay the price and yes we did!!
Our defensive display was nothing short of shoddy, ive never been halls biggest fan, and with Kaspers Gorkss sat on the bench i literally wanted to tear my hair out at what imo is a very poor decision on the managers part... For a man the size of Fitz Hall he should dominate his penalty area, but with him playing we seem at sixes and sevens... Very poor, shouldnt be our first choice cb!...
Leigertwood imo did alright at RB though...
In fairness to JM though he has admitted our defensive display was shocking, atleast he hasnt tried to paper over the cracks and talk rubbish, plain and simple our defensive display was poor, we know it, he knows it, and the players will know it!!...
Watson had his best game for us so far imo, his and Faurlins passing was nothing short of exceptional, Faurlin especially was fantastic and although i was frustrated at the decision to take adel off, i was very happy that for once Faurlin wasnt the first casulty and got to see the game till the end!!....Seriously imo Faurlin was totally fantastic and should have been MOTM, he really is a star.
Routledge and taarabt both had good games, on another day both would have scored and we would have won that match 4-1... Im scratching my head as to how we didnt win today...Although ther is a cloud of dissapointment this evening, it does leave me hopeful of a positive result ahead of boro at home...
Simpson should imo be brought in January, 8 goals, run his socks off as per usual and got his goal today to get us back in the game, got his chance and didnt waste it!..We need to keep him, i just hope in january we get another striker in to support Simpson...Ive said it before and i'll say it again imo Leon Best would be a very good signing should we get him, along side the pace of Simpson we could have a very sharpe front 2!!!
Not doom and gloom people, as i said crazy enough we finish this weekend sitting pritty in 5th spot, big game next weekend, and no reason why we cant take 3 points from m'boro!!!!:boss:
