  • Cerny

I know on the whole, he has been a good keeper for us but -

Will he ever learn to catch a ball?

Has he ever considered coming out to colllect a ball around the 6 yard box?

Will he ever get verbal and attempt to comand his area?

He pulls off some mighty fine saves, but it is so frustating watching him every week lacking in goalkeeping basics like the three mentioned above.

A phone in caller mentioned it on the way home and Clive Walker laughed and said he totally agrees.

Whenever he (C.W.) has seem him play, either for Spurs or us he can't understand why he hardly ever comes for balls and when he does he invariably flaps at it.

Beginning to find Cerny's game a bit poor to be honest.

Maybe if and when Heaton does return he should be given a chance.

From what I saw at Chelski he looks a damn fine prospect.

Only one game I know, but Cerny had one or two iffy games during Heaton's loan spell and I felt he should have been given a game.

Yea I agree, I have been a big supporter of Cerny, the man makes some world class saves simple as that BUT he is useless at dealing with crosses, he can't catch and has no command of his defence or the area. You would swear he was tied the goal post the way he stands there and lets balls into the box bounce and cause chaos.
