I personally thought Borrowdale was alright.

Sam - Sorry (and I hate to say this) but I honestly don't think you are knowledgable about football from your comments. I'm sorry if that offends you but Iam just being honest. Borrowdale made a couple of sliced clearances, I can see that, but as usual his overall passing was excellent. I'd like to have some stats to show you, I wish they'd publish them. His cross was the one Hall headed on target, he did a couple more excellent crosses, he tackled well and he passed well. He did a last ditch goal-saving tackle too in the 2nd half. He also played a sublime cross field ball which was very swee tto watch. Legs also had a stormer, especially in the 2nd half. Conners was at fault for the first goal, and we looked like we couldn't head at all in the middle.
Mr Magilton, you are either a fool for dropping Gorkss or there is something we don't know about... Conners and Gorkss are the best centre backs we have, with Stewart the 3rd best. Stop p*ssing about with the defence and start concentrating on your substitutions. By taking Adel off, Magilton conceded the momentum completely. Do you ever see Man Utd do that? No.
They scored then he was blind to the fact that Pat was the obvious person to bring on. A schoolboy could have seen that.
Overall, typical QPR. We are playing some tidy stuff, but we seem to just shoot ourselves in the foot.
Forogt to say, definite penalty when Watson had his shirt pullled in the box. Blatant.

Fez - anyone with half an ounce of football knowledge can see that he did pretty well. It gets right on my nerves. Watching football a lot does not make someone an expert, yet some of the things people say are just way off the mark and I'd love to factually prove that with some stats as well. I end up feeling I have to defend him when you get the people who can't see past the end of their noses. People did it to Mahon last year and I defended him to the hilt. Now look at how poeple view him. There's a lot of armchair managers, but how many have played a good level, coached at all or actually been coached properly? Grrrr. Sorry but football is a simple game.

Cant fault the players today, Magilton made a huge error in not bringing on Agyemang as soon as the got their 2nd goal. Shud never have taken motm tarrabt off, that was his best game for us and you could tell from very early on he was well up for it. We played some excellent football at times and create plenty of chances. On another day we could have scored 7 goals!!
Coventry's left back who looked like was gunna sign for us really impressed me, i am a lil disappointed we didnt get him, he forced Cerny into a superb save in the first half. However Borrowdale had one of his best games imo, i still think its a problem position but he was good today.
Leon Best caused us lots of problems and we shud defo sign him in january, he hardly lost anything in the air and wud give us the option we have been crying out for. Him n simpson up front together wud be dynamite.

well i have to disagree with all of you. having played left back myself i know exactly what it takes. primarily you are a defender. i cannot remember one tackle borrowdale made.
you are secondly attacking. borrowdale missplaced countless passed. short and long. the one time he ventured forward with the ball their right midfielder won it back.
he puts our defense under pressure at times. a decent left back is needed in order to go up

The ones are critical of Borrowdale need to take off the blinkers.
Without his tackle in the second half we would have gone 2-1 behind, when they waltzed through our defence and he got down the wing with some good crosses. One ball he played to Routledge was sublime and the ball he crossed to Simpson in the first half, another inch lower he would have scored.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

You said, he didn't make one tackle.
Well, he saved us from going behind on one great tackle.

My first game of the season today and from reading posts about Borrowdale was very worried that he was starting but thought he did OK today with the goal saving tackle being the highlight ( if made by connerly people would saying how great he was ).
I was very impressed by our football at times we were unplayable but we looked second rate when any ball came into the box the 2 centrebacks and cerny were poor today for me cerny needs to comand his area alot better.
But the goals they scored should've of had no bearing on the result as we should have scored enough to win two games.
