I wanted Dowie.

I wanted Dowie because I wanted QPR to have a manager who not only knows the league, knows the oppositions but has been there and done it. A manager who is English, is articulate and above all passionate. I wanted Dowie because he would fight for you even if you weren't worth fighting for. Dowie knows how to get out of this league and knew who would have been right for the side (Ben Watson) and knew who wasn't (Di Carmine, Parejo, Tomassi). Instead he was fired for supposedly under achieving and now his tenure seems like a long time ago.
