Rant time again - choosing seats online

When are they actually going to allow customers to view the seating plan and choose vacant seats by simply clicking on them? Now it is pure guesswork and the Find nearest seat function is totally useless because it defies logic and spews out seats that are not very near. I am sick and tired of endlessly clickety-clicking and praying that the system offers something suitable.

But we all know why we cannot view and choose particular seats online ourselves, don't we, boys and girls? It just might have something to do with this constant Sold Out bullsh1t emanating from the marketing department - they do not want us to clearly see which seats are vacant (save for a cursory glimpse at the Box Office, I am sure they will plug that gap sooner or later), they do not want us to choose freely, because that would be like plssing on their bonfire of vanity, because in reality the stadium rarely looks anything resembling Sold Out. Of course I might be wrong, maybe 3-4 thousand fans of all those who purchased tickets just scratch their heads before every game and say "Nah, I would rather stay at home and use this expensive ticket as toilet paper for a lark".

I WANT TO BE ABLE TO VIEW THE SEATING PLAN ONLINE AND CHOOSE MY SEATS BY SIMPLY CLICKING ON THEM. CHRIST, EVEN THE CR@PPIEST THEATRE IN GREENLAND HAS THIS FEATURE ON THEIR WEBSITE, BUT NOT US, OH NO... :waaaht: :very_sad: :surrender: :tired: :embarrassed:

Wrongity wrong. When I get 10 mins spare I'll knock up a post detailing how Venuemaster/Ticketmaster works.

The old booking system of about 3 - 5 years ago was brilliant...... all you did was clicked on the seat you wanted to sit in...... that's progess for you!

If the new system done that, you would be able to see the empty seats in Bronze and Silver, when they tell you there is only room in Gold.

Twice my brother has been told the seats near me have been sold and made to buy a gold ticket. When the game starts, its clear they lied. They have refunded the difference afterwards, but why do it in the first place and when I see people say there is Nothing sinister.... I laugh.
